Damn man, you're not THAT old yet, though apart from age it could be a myriad of things really. Do you get enough sleep for starters? That has a huge affect on memory, especially if you have long-term sleep deprivation. Stress and nutrition too. Or if you happen to have routines that are monotone to the point you don't consider certain things worth remembering - that happens too. Does seem like something worth looking into if the cause isn't clear there...

Recent strong disease ?
Lack of sleep ?
Those are very common causes of "lapsus memoriae".
